He was born here at Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare after we rescued his mother, Rio, from an abandonment situation. Just two months after arriving, she gave birth to this handsome colt, giving him a safe and nurturing start to life. After weaning, his mom was placed in a nearby home, and Baby Lago has continued to grow up at the farm alongside his “babysitters,” Tito’s Discount and Don Carlos R. He is learning the basics of herd life, social skills, and building confidence in a structured environment. As a young horse, Baby Lago is still developing and will need a home that can provide continued education, consistency, and proper handling to help him grow into a well-mannered partner. He is a blank slate with lots of potential in the right hands. Important NotesBaby Lago is not intended for breeding and will require castration once he is of appropriate age.
