TackTackRoom Buyer Protection

TackTackRoom will issue a full refund if your item is never shipped, arrives damaged, or arrives not as described.


Rule #1 — Keep All Communication on TackTackRoom

Buyer and seller protection only applies when:

  • The transaction stays on TackTackRoom, and
  • All communication related to the sale stays in the in-app chat.

This protects both parties.

If communication moves off-platform, TackTackRoom cannot offer buyer or seller protection.


How Your Purchase Is Protected

Secure Payment (Escrow System)

When you buy an item, your payment goes into escrow—neither you nor the seller has the funds.

The seller is only paid after:

  1. The item is delivered, and
  2. You confirm that the item is in the promised condition

OR

3 days pass without a dispute being opened.

Tracking for Every Shipment

Once shipped, you receive a tracking number so you can monitor your item door-to-door.


You Have 3 Days to Open a Dispute

After the carrier marks your order Delivered, you have 3 days to open a dispute if:

  • The item is damaged
  • The item is not as described
  • The wrong item arrived
  • Items or defects were misrepresented

After 3 days, if no dispute is opened, the order becomes non-refundable, and the seller is paid.

How to Open a Dispute

  1. Go to your Order Page
  2. Click “Accept or Reject Item”
  3. Explain your issue and upload photos if needed

Our team will review your case and assist you through the process.

If the dispute is settled in your favor, you may return the item to the seller for a full refund.


If the Order Never Ships

If the seller does not ship the item:

  • TackTackRoom will cancel the order
  • Your payment authorization will be released
  • You will not be charged
