How Do Refunds Work on TackTack?

When a buyer purchases an item on TackTack, the payment goes into escrow. This means the funds are held securely by TackTack—not by the buyer and not by the seller.

Sellers are paid only after the buyer receives the item in the condition promised.

1. If the Item Has Not Shipped

• Buyer and seller can cancel orders as long as there is no tracking information added to the order.

2. If the Item Has Already Been Received

Once the buyer has received the item:

• If the buyer wants a refund after delivery, they must message the seller directly and ask whether the seller agrees to accept a return and issue a refund.
• A refund after delivery is not automatic and depends on the seller’s approval.

If the seller agrees, TackTackRoom will help process the return and release the refund accordingly.
