There are several ways an order can be canceled on TackTack—either automatically by the system or manually by the buyer.


1. Automatic Cancellations

Not Accepted Within 3 Days

If the seller does not approve the order within 3 days, the system will automatically cancel it and release the payment authorization.

Accepted but Not Shipped Within 5 Days

If the seller accepts the order but does not ship it within 5 days of the order being placed, the order is automatically canceled

(unless the seller has already accessed the shipping label).


2. Canceling the Order Yourself

You may cancel an order directly from your account as long as:

  • The item has not been shipped, and
  • The seller has not entered or uploaded tracking information.

To cancel:

  1. Go to your Account
  2. Open Orders
  3. Select the order
  4. Tap Cancel Order

If tracking has already been added, the order cannot be canceled.


3. What Happens to Your Payment?

Because TackTack only authorizes your payment at checkout, a cancellation simply causes the pending authorization to disappear.

No refund is required since no funds were captured.
