Breed: Shetland Pony Gender: Gelding Age: 6 Height: 9.0hh Color: Brown Disciplines: Prospect for Any Discipline, Companion, Driving, Therapy - Non-Riding Adoption fee: $500 Location: Nexus Equine-Ellie — Oklahoma City, OK Meet Ranger Ron! Meet Ranger Ron, an absolutely adorable Shetland pony with big cheeks, wild hair, and the cutest little whinny you've ever heard! This little guy has a personality that's hard not to love, and everyone here at Nexus has already taken quite a liking to him. Ranger Ron is still learning to come out of his shell, but he's making wonderful progress every day! We're working on his ground manners, picking up all four feet, becoming more comfortable with being caught, and learning to lead more softly. He picks things up quickly, and it's exciting to watch his confidence grow! Ranger Ron would benefit from a patient home willing to give him time to learn and continue building his confidence. We think he has lots of potential! He could make a wonderful companion for an existing herd or, with continued training, might even have potential as a cart pony for someone looking for a fun little project. Between his charming looks, unforgettable whinny, and sweet personality, Ranger Ron is quickly becoming a barn favorite. He's proof that sometimes the smallest horses leave the biggest impressions! Nexus Equine, Inc. is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Rescue website: https://www.nexusequine.org
