Breed: Grade Gender: Mare Age: 15 Height: 15.3hh Color: Buckskin Disciplines: Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $1,000 Location: Houston Humane Society — Houston, TX Blondie is a 15-year-old buckskin mare with a golden coat and a name that fits her sunny presence. At 15, she's still got plenty of good years ahead, and she's looking for a home where she can settle in and be appreciated for who she is. Blondie's training history is still being figured out — we're unsure whether she's been ridden, so her background under saddle isn't confirmed. She's currently pending a behavioral evaluation, which will help us understand her temperament, her ground manners, and what kind of home and job might suit her best. Blondie is looking for an adopter with patience and experience — someone comfortable taking on a horse whose training picture is still coming into focus. For a home that offers her time and understanding, she could settle in beautifully and become a trusted, steady companion. Houston Humane Society is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Message Houston Humane Society here on tacktack to ask about Blondie and the adoption process.
