About this item

Breed: Grade Gender: Gelding Age: 19 Height: 15.0hh Color: Palomino Disciplines: Companion, Other, Trail Riding Adoption fee: $1,000 Location: Mountain Shadows Equine Revival — Laramie, WY Sundance is a 19-year-old gelding with a quiet, shy nature and a genuine sweet temperament. He is currently in the early stages of halter training and is beginning to develop a foundational understanding of handling and human interaction. While still green on the ground, he shows a thoughtful, willing attitude and responds best to calm, patient, and consistent guidance. Despite his limited formal training to date, Sundance demonstrates considerable potential for continued development. He takes time to process new information and benefits from a low-pressure approach that allows him to build confidence at his own pace. With consistency and clear communication, he shows steady improvement and a growing curiosity toward learning. Sundance would be well suited for an adopter who enjoys the training process and is comfortable working with a horse that requires time and thoughtful handling. An experienced handler who values relationship-building and groundwork will find him to be a rewarding project. In the right environment, Sundance has the potential to develop into a reliable and trusting partner on the ground and beyond.
