This sweet gelding is looking for a home as a companion horse due to his limited riding experience throughout his life. He moves sound and is happiest enjoying the quieter side of life out in the pasture. Beach Boy can be a little shy at first, but bring out the treats and you'll quickly discover the way to his heart! He enjoys being brushed and has been excellent for the veterinarian. He does need some additional handling, particularly with picking up all four feet, standing tied, and becoming more comfortable with new experiences. He can be reactive at times, so a patient handler who can help build his confidence will be important. Beach Boy has an older injury to his right hind hoof that has resulted in a permanently altered hoof wall appearance. This is an established change in the hoof's shape, rather than something expected to grow out. With his relaxed nature in the pasture and a little polish on his ground manners, Beach Boy could make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a manageable project and a horse to enjoy spending time with. He's got a good foundation to build on and plenty of potential to become a lovely addition to the right home!
