Breed: Donkey Gender: Mare Age: 11 Height: 13.0hh Color: Red Roan Disciplines: Therapy - Non-Riding, Companion, Other Adoption fee: $900 Location: Oscar's Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary — Hopland, CA Sweet Stella came to Oscar’s Place in September 2024, carrying a special surprise — she was pregnant! In October, she welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Lavendar, into the world. Since then, the two have been inseparable. Stella is a gentle, affectionate donkey who enjoys spending time with people. She walks nicely on a halter, and is progressing wonderfully with her trailer training. Lavendar is growing fast under her mother’s watchful eye, learning curiosity and confidence from Stella every day. At Oscar’s Place, every donkey is fully halter trained, trailer trained, and farrier trained before adoption. Because of their strong bond, Stella and Lavendar are available only as a pair. They’re looking for a loving home where they can continue to grow together, bringing double the joy and twice the love. To learn more about Lavendar, please see our listings. Adoption fee for two donkeys is $1800 We do require site visits for all adoptions and because of this only adopt out within a four-hour radius of our ranch in Hopland, California Oscar's Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
