Breed: Donkey Gender: Gelding Age: 17 Height: 13.2hh Color: Gray Disciplines: Equine Affaire, Companion Adoption fee: $800 Location: MSPCA at Nevins Farm — Methuen, MA Meet Handsome! If you have ever wanted to be serenaded everytime you walk into the barn - look no further! Handsome will happily sing you the song of his people which is sure to bring a smile to your face. Handsome is silly and 100% a donkey. He is currently turned out with 2 mules and they both find him rather annoying but tolerate his presence. He would love a buddy to play with! Handsome came to us with "slipper hooves" and will need some extra help to keep his pretty feets looking and feeling their best. He went some time without proper hoof care and is recovering very well! He shows a bit of discomfort in his hind limbs while being worked with but continues to improve. He will need a patient adopter and farrier to continue working with him through his full recovery. Our volunteers and staff have quickly fallen in love with this guy. He has the sweetest eyes and the biggest ears. He enjoys being groomed and cared for. If you have been looking for a giant donkey who is the sweetest and silliest of them all, come meet Handsome! MSPCA at Nevins Farm is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Rescue website: http://www.mspca.org/nevinsfarm
