Breed: American Quarter Horse, Arabian Gender: Mare Age: 18 Height: 14.2hh Color: Paint/Pinto Disciplines: Equine Affaire, Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $800 Location: MSPCA at Nevins Farm — Methuen, MA Storm is a sweet and curious mare. She has grown up alongside her sire and another gelding who came into Nevins together. They have all settled in quite well and are ready to find their next home! Storm will need an experienced handler to improve her skillset with leading and ground work. She has not been started undersaddle, but has no known limitations and could make a great candidate for any discipline with the right partner. She is a little dull to pressure and will need someone to show her what is and is not appropriate. We have enjoyed working with her and watching the wheels in her brain get moving! With time and patience, she is going to make somebody a great partner. The world is your oyster with this one! She also looooves strawberries! Storm is good for both the vet and farrier, though needs little reminders to respect human space. If you've been looking for a sweet mare to pour your heart into, Storm is your girl. MSPCA at Nevins Farm is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Rescue website: http://www.mspca.org/nevinsfarm
