Brand: SIMCO Seat size: 15.5" Tree size: 7" Beautifully restored vintage Simco Western saddle. Simco is a heritage brand known for their rock-solid wood trees and exceptional English-tanned floral tooled leather, with a padded seat. This is a "cinder block" sturdy saddle built to last another 30 years. The Restoration: This saddle was painstakingly deep-cleaned to remove years of old show wax and arena dust. The intricate floral tooling has been hand-detailed with a soft brush and microfiber. It has been deep-conditioned with high-quality oils and finished with a light protective buff. Specifications & Condition: * Seat Size: 15.5" * Tree: Sound and solid. Tested for torque and flex (front-to-back and side-to-side) with zero issues. * Gullet: Wide bars (measures roughly 7" at the conchos), ideal for Quarter Horses and broader-backed trail horses. * Silver: Features ornate Silver hardware, all hand-polished to a high shine. I think this may be German silver. * Fleece: Underside fleece is intact, clean, and in great condition. * Rigging: Latigo and billets are intact and strong. * Included: Comes with matching heavy-duty stirrups. This is a versatile "Wide Boy" that would be equally at home in the parade ring, local shows, or as a high-end trail saddle. *Did my best to measure gullet and find info from old catalogues on the model number (5554)—as I don’t have the original bare-tree measurement.* Indicates full quarter horse bars. Premium model show/parade saddle. Padded seat. Made in USA. Minor cosmetic wear. Few spots parching began, have been well conditioned.
