Breed: Miniature Horse Gender: Mare Age: 18 Height: 10.0hh Color: Paint/Pinto Disciplines: Companion, Therapy - Non-Riding Adoption fee: $800 Location: Layla Rose Ranch — Annetta , TX Meet Loretta — An Absolute Doll Looking for Her Forever Home! Loretta is the kind of horse who steals your heart without even trying. At 18 years old, this sweet girl has the most incredible personality and, of course, the BEST mane! Loretta is happiest when she is with her people. She will be right in your pocket when it’s time to eat, looking for attention, affection, and all the snuggles she can get. She simply loves being loved. She is currently at the very bottom of the herd hierarchy, and honestly, she couldn’t care less. Loretta has no desire to be the boss or prove anything to anyone. She is perfectly content just being her sweet self and enjoying the company of people and other horses. Loretta stood perfectly for the vet during her exam and absolutely loves to be groomed. For her, grooming isn’t just grooming—it means she gets to spend time with her favorite people! She is halter broke and has such a gentle, loving demeanor. Because of her age and sweet nature, Loretta would make a wonderful non-ridden therapy horse, companion horse, or special friend for another horse who needs companionship. She deserves a home where she can spend her days being cherished, groomed, spoiled rotten, and loved on by her very special person. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this girl. I absolutely adore her. Her sweet eyes, beautiful mane, and loving personality make Loretta incredibly special. If you’re looking for a horse who will give you her whole heart simply because you showed her some love, Loretta may be your girl. Layla Rose Ranch Equine Rescue is where you can find videos of her and see who else is available. Come check us out. Layla Rose Ranch is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
