Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Gelding Age: 3 Height: 16.1hh Color: Dark Bay Disciplines: Other Adoption fee: $2,000 Location: Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation — Guthrie, OK ***In Rehab*** Meet Kind Soul, an off-track Thoroughbred gelding who truly lives up to his name. Kind Soul came to Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation in Guthrie, OK, after a successful racing career to rehabilitate a bowed tendon. He is making fantastic progress and we will update his profile once his rehab is complete and he has been cleared by our veterinarian. His name carries a touching story: he was born on the exact day his breeder’s beloved senior dog passed away, a dog that shared a special, exclusive bond with Kind Soul's mother. Arriving with the dog's exact markings, the owner’s daughter remembered the dog as a truly "kind soul," giving the newborn colt a legacy he carries to this day. Around the barn, Kind Soul is an absolute favorite with a steady, pocket-pony personality and a big heart. If you’re looking for a gentle gelding with an unforgettable story to welcome into your barn and heart, Kind Soul could be the one for you! If you'd like to adopt him please reach out and we can keep you posted on his rehab! Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
