Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Gelding Age: 5 Height: 16.1hh Color: Bay Disciplines: Lessons/Therapy, Western Pleasure, Trail Riding, RRP Thoroughbred Makeover Eligible, Dressage Adoption fee: $1,500 Location: serenity oaks equine sanctuary — plymouth, MI Tall, dark and handsome, Iron Man Ira is a young gelding who could go in a lot of different directions! He retired from the track sound and is ready for some new adventures with the right partner. He is a friendly, in your pocket sort of horse. He gets along well with other horses and is low in the pecking order. Ira has some arthritic changes in both front fetlocks, so he would be best suited to flat work and a lower intensity job. It is recommended that he avoid jumping and barrel racing. Radiographs are on file and can be shared with potential adopters. Ira is brave and would make an excdellent trail horse. If you're looking for a sweet and friendly partner, come and meet Iran Man Ira! Ira is in front shoes, up to date on vetting, farrier and dental work. Serenity Oaks Thoroughbred Aftercare is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Rescue website: https://sota.horse/
