Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Filly Age: 3 Height: 16.0hh Color: Bay Disciplines: Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $1,150 Location: Second Stride — Crestwood, KY 16 hands. She never raced and has no published works. She did have an injury to her right shoulder as a youngster that has healed and is not an issue. There is a significant scar. Floaty is a very sweet filly and has settled into our farm quickly. She was turned out with other mares her first night here and did great, making fast friends. She does seem to be cautious of new people and surroundings, however, with a slow approach and kind instruction, she is accepting and sensible. Floaty has nice ground manners and is respectful of her handlers. She is well behaved for bathing and grooming and stood politely for the farrier. She seems to be a sensible and athletic mare. Floaty is suitable for a rider who has experience with young, green thoroughbreds. She is unsure of the mounting block but is learning to stand quietly with a slow approach. She will need a skilled rider to acclimate her to the canter transition. Once you are on her back, she is well mannered and does what is asked of her. She didn't mind working outside and seems to enjoy her rides. She should be suitable for any discipline. Second Stride is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
