Follow along #hopteamzesta https://www.facebook.com/goldenacresequinesales From Trainer 7/6/26 I thought a fun ‘day in the life of Zesta’ would be a nice way to do this video! PROS LOVES attention FIRST one at the gate Stands tied very well (some baby brain here & there but mostly a patient lady) Leaves her pasture mates just fine (no screaming for friends) Loads beautifully on the trailer Gets along well in the pasture- low on the pole & minds her business a very confident lady LOVES bath time a little too much Stands great for fly spray Stands great for farrier Can be lead with another horse & does very well Will go over just about any obstacle you throw at her Is not scared of heavy machinery Not bothered by dogs Things we are working on Surcingle we are still making friends with She can get overwhelmed when ‘too much’ pressure is added. She is still learning to think before she reacts. Baby brain can take over occasionally and she decides she is done. It does not take much to bring her back but she does occasionally test the boundaries. Sometimes she just needs a few moments pause for her brain to catch up. Trotting in hand/ponying she can be a little hesitant about At this very moment I would say she would be great for someone who has had some experience with youngsters. I believe she would make a wonderful trail/obstacle horse! Once she grows some more and we see how she’s shaped, a cute little English girl may be in her future. She has an adorable floating trot! If anyone has ANY questions about her please let me know! I will update this post later tonight with her exact height! She is in need of a FOREVER HOME! Set up a time to come meet her! Visit their Facebook page or their website https://www.appalachiantrainerfaceoff.com/ In our time together she is now able to be lead softly and willingly anywhere! She loads and ties on a trailer like a pro. She LOVES obstacles & so far will walk over anything. She can move her shoulders, haunches, and is starting to pick up side passing. She gets along great with other horses. She absolutely LOVES bath time & water. I think she will be a ‘trough diver’ in the future if she ever figures that out. She can be caught out in the field. She is very very curious & loves people. If she sees anyone outside she will go up to the fence and patiently wait to be scratched. I will be focusing more on some muscle gaining work & getting her looking her best. She will soon be learning to ground drive and then I have some fun adventures in store for her. Adoption fees may be outdated, as a horse may have moved into training, so check us on most current fee. Horses typically adopted UTD on vaccines, dental floats, farrier care and all vet needs. We are looking to adopt to safe homes. A history of good horsemanship, the ability to provide sufficient care with good vet, farrier and peer references are important. If you are a first time horse owner, we will require you to board at a facility for the first year while you learn more about care. We encourage everyone to take advantage of riding lessons. Foal adoptions require previous, established experience with youngsters. Our adoption process makes sure you get the right horse for you – it is a no fail process for finding the right match.
