Scarlett has a history as a rescue horse. She was rehabilitated after being mistreated and has shown improvement. She has been a companion horse for the past eight months due to lameness issues. Two veterinarians have assessed her condition, identifying minimal arthritis in her left front foot, but they believe her discomfort may be due to permanent soft tissue damage.
