Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Mare Age: 18 Height: 15.3hh Color: Bay Adoption fee: $900 Location: Kentucky Equine Adoption Center — Nicholasville, KY 2008 15.3 HH Bay Thoroughbred Mare New Arrival! Meet Jaylee, a sweet mare who loves attention and enjoys being around her horse friends. She has a friendly personality and seems happiest when she has companionship nearby. Jaylee is currently barefoot and pasture sound. We believe she has been ridden in the past, but she has not been in regular work recently. We are working with our veterinary team to determine her appropriate level of work and will continue to learn more about her as she settles in. Based on what we know so far, she will likely need to be restarted under saddle. An intermediate adopter with experience bringing a horse back into work would be the best fit for Jaylee. As she adjusts to her new surroundings, Jaylee is currently receiving a Ramard® calming supplement to help her settle in. She also receives ½ scoop of Hallway Feeds Encompass™ once daily. We’ll continue to share updates as we get to know Jaylee better and learn more about her personality, training, and care needs. Adoption Fee: $900 Please fill out our Adoption Application at www.kyeac.org/adopt Kentucky Equine Adoption Center is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
