Breed: Tennessee Walking Horse Gender: Gelding Age: 16 Height: 15.0hh Color: Black Disciplines: Therapy - Non-Riding, Companion Adoption fee: $800 Location: Mountain Valley Horse Rescue — McCoy, CO Golie is a beautiful black gaited gelding in his mid teens. His previous owner loved him very much but after multiple years of working through training issues and being unsuccessful, she asked MVHR for help. Golie is healthy and broke to ride, but has some previous traumas to work through with a confident handler and will likely not be restarted under saddle by MVHR. We look forward to continuing to get to know him and helping him find his own next person with whom he could build a trusting bond and play ground work games. Mountain Valley Horse Rescue is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Message Mountain Valley Horse Rescue here on tacktack to ask about Golie and the adoption process.
