Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Gelding Age: 13 Height: 17.0hh Color: Gray Disciplines: Trail Riding, Dressage, English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, Other Adoption fee: $3,800 Location: Mountain Valley Horse Rescue — McCoy, CO Cheech is a flea-bitten grey thoroughbred gelding in his teens, who has seen many places in the US during his racing career, and has been passed around many times. From being on the track to being re-trained as a hunter jumper, this guy is now looking for the one person who will commit to him forever. We have started his training evaluation in English, and so far this boy has done well with our experienced trainer. He will require an experienced handler in the saddle and on the ground, as during the many lives he has lived, he was not given safe boundaries at times which is a must for a 17+ hand off the track thoroughbred. He is a one person type of horse. Mountain Valley Horse Rescue is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale. Message Mountain Valley Horse Rescue here on tacktack to ask about Cheech and the adoption process.
