Breed: Shetland Pony Gender: Gelding Age: 9 Height: 11.1hh Color: Bay Disciplines: Companion, Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $500 Location: Horses' Haven — Howell, MI Blaze is a sweet, shy, and handsome Shetland pony with a gentle heart. He has good manners once caught but can be a bit unsure with the vet and farrier. Blaze can be reactive at times, so he needs a calm, experienced handler to guide him, and is not ready to be a kids pony. He requires proper pasture management, no grass, and low-sugar hay to stay healthy. Blaze has good potential and would thrive with consistent, knowledgeable handling. He does not have any known training but has potential as a training project. He does best with a visible equine companion and cannot be stalled alone. Blaze is looking for a patient, confident home where he can build trust and enjoy a safe, happy pony life Horses' Haven is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
