MEASUREMENTS: Seat size: 17.5’’, Gullet width: 7’’ (although, possibly adjustable), Flap length: around 18-20’’, Girth size: 30’’. Located in Columbus, GA I promise you, you have stumbled upon a one in a million saddle! She maybe old, but looks and rides like she’s brand new! Tree, flocking, leather, and billets are in excellent condition, this saddle has been and is currently stored in a temperature controlled environment. Once upon a time Whitman Saddlery was a well regarded saddlery, known for their custom saddles crafted with quality leather built for comfort and longevity. The specific saddle I offer was one from a collaboration (or so I believe), Rembrandt x Canada Harmony, meaning the original set sold brand new from the manufacturer is being sold together, all in near new, excellent condition. Would you believe me if I told you this saddle was around 20+ years old?? I bought the saddle off the original owner who only rode in it once, I myself used it a handful of times, but I’ve found that it’s too wide for my ponies, despite its age, it rode incredibly well. Information on this particular model is limited due to the Saddlery going out of business about 10+ years ago, I’ve dug into this saddles history, but feel free to do your own research. EDIT: So I have been informed by somebody whose used this brand in the past, back when the Saddlery was still producing saddles, that they’ve never seen a saddle like this one without an adjustable gullet system, and it’s not just the gullet thats adjustable, the entire tree can be adjusted using a tool called the allen wrench!! So, some food for thought, if you’d like to give that a go. 😉 (I’d still suggest speaking to a fitter before making any final decisions!! I personally haven’t tried readjusting this saddles fit). The saddle and girth has been cleaned and conditioned. Saddle will be conditioned again prior to shipping or pick up!
