Unique and hard to find! This 17" Hadfield's Saddlery Jermey Rudge close contact jump saddle is exactly what you'd expect from a premium saddlery's production. The leather is soft and supple, and while it does show some typical signs of regular use/wear along the seat's seam and flaps, it does not impact function/use - with no "loose" stitching, tears, scratches, etc. The foam panels are in excellent condition and have not hardened/compacted and have a great amount of give to them. The flaps, which feature front blocks, measure 12.75" wide by 13.25" long, with a 17" seat and approximately a 4.25" dot to dot (although it is stamped medium I would say it is more of a medium/narrow). Overall this saddle is in great working condition with soft and supple leather that has been well cared for over the years. These saddles don't come up often and are comparable to the higher end saddles currently produced (I would say very similar to some of the nicer Beval's, etc.)
