About this item

Breed: Draft, Welsh Pony Gender: Gelding Age: 13 Height: 13.2hh Color: Dun Disciplines: Companion, Other Adoption fee: $500 Location: Horses' Haven — Howell, MI Tango is a strikingly handsome Cream Draft/Welsh cross with a big personality and undeniable charm. He’s incredibly cute, friendly, and loves interacting with people — a true heart-stealer. Tango is available as a non-riding companion only due to poor confirmation, arthritis, and mild rotation in front hooves., and requires daily nsaid to be pasture sound (xrays available to adopter). His feet are being managed successfully with regular trims and proper care. Because of his history, he requires pasture and diet management, ideally a dry lot or very limited grass, along with close attention to his weight. With the right management, he can live a comfortable pasture life and would also make a great friend or companion, he can also likely give light pony rides to children on occasion. Tango has the basics of training in place, leads does well with light groundwork, ties, cross-ties, stands fr the vet and farrier, and can be ponied from another horse. Tango is truly a sweet, charming, and very photogenic little horse who would love a family to call his own. If you are looking for the perfect little gelding to add to your herd, Tango is your guy! *Please note, we are not a foster based rescue* Horses' Haven is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
