Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Gelding Age: 3 Height: 16.0hh Color: Bay Disciplines: Prospect for Any Discipline, RRP Thoroughbred Makeover Eligible Adoption fee: $1,250 Location: Second Stride — Crestwood, KY 3 year old thoroughbred gelding bred in KY Silver State (Hard Spun) out of Greenery by Galileo (IRE) Eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project's THOROUGHBRED MAKEOVER COMPETITION! 16 hands. He last raced on 9/17/26 and retired sound. We are not aware of any injuries though he does roar. He was castrated on 10/8/26. Symbol is pure class and intelligence. He is kind and easy to work with. He seems sensible and intelligent. Under saddle he was well behaved and did his job. He has a nice even gait and should excel in any discipline. He should be an easy one to bring along no matter which discipline his adopter chooses to go. Symbol was well behaved for his grooming session and for his ad pictures. He walks politely on a lead rope and is respectful of his handlers. He is quiet in his stall and when turned out. He stood well for our farrier who commented on what class he had. With tieback surgery, he should be suitable for upper level sport use. Second Stride is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
