Breed: Arabian Gender: Mare Age: 19 Height: 14.2hh Color: Gray Disciplines: Companion, Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $750 Location: Horses' Haven — Howell, MI Serafina is a gorgeous grey Arabian mare who her grooms absolutely adore. She is a kind mare who has made progress since arriving, but she will need continued training, patience, and confidence-building in her new home. She can be reactive to certain things and was very guarded when she first arrived. She is also head shy, and trailering is an area that will need continued work. Serafina currently lives calmly in a herd of mares and could be adopted as either a companion or a project. She has a reported history of being ridden, but we have not evaluated her under saddle yet. During her intake dental, Serafina needed a few extractions and recovered well. She is now available for adoption to someone who is comfortable giving her the time and consistency she needs. Serafina has plenty of potential and a sweet personality Horses' Haven is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
