He last raced in Puerto Rico in 2021 and retired with arthritis. He does have navicular in both fronts. He has been injected with Osphos and this seems to keep him comfortable at the walk. He is pasture sound. Warrior is a true war horse, running 51 times and earning $120,890. He has been in several homes since his racing days ended 4 years ago and is now looking for a lifetime home to finish out his days. Warrior has settled into our farm quickly and had no issues when turning out with a new gelding friend. He is well mannered on a lead rope and gets along well with stable and pasture friends. He stands quietly for bathing, grooming, vet and farrier and seems like a classy boy. He is a very easy keeper and easy to love. Warrior was passed around post early retirement and needs someone who can give him a solid foundation to learn and grow. He is very friendly towards people, and we know he will do great in his new home. He is sound currently at the walk. Warrior enjoys turn out time the most but also does fine in a stall for half a day. He should not be housed in a field or setup where horses have access to the same stall. He does share a run in shed without issues. If he remains sound, he should be suitable for low level flat work and easy farm trails.
