About this item

Breed: American Saddlebred, Arabian Gender: Mare Age: 21 Height: 14.2hh Color: Brown Disciplines: Companion Adoption fee: $500 Location: Humane Society of North Texas — Fort Worth, TX 🧡Looking for your new best friend? Meet Jenny! This very special mare loves to connect with people and will follow you everywhere you go! Jenny is seeking a new home as a companion horse. She has wonderful ground manners for the vet and farrier, and would be a perfect beginner horse! This amazing girl would be brilliant in a groundwork-based equine therapy program. She has amazing skills at liberty and a very gentle disposition that brings peace to all who meet her! Jenny has foundered in the past, and as a result, she requires turnout on a dry lot or with a grazing muzzle if on lower-quality grass. She has shoes on her front feet due to the foundering. Jenny also requires meds in the form of Prascend and Equioxx to keep her comfortable. Jenny is 14.2 hands tall. This horse is up-to-date on shots, Coggins, dental care, farrier work, and is microchipped. Age is an estimate. 🧡Please fill out an interest in adoption form on our website to learn more and schedule an appointment: https://www.hsnt.org/ranch When you adopt, you are not just giving a second chance to an animal in need; you are becoming a part of HSNT's critical rescue work.
