Breed: Appaloosa Gender: Mare Age: 18 Height: 14.2hh Color: Red Roan Disciplines: Companion Adoption fee: $200 Location: Days End Farm Horse Rescue — Woodbine, MD Where are all our Appy lovers? She’s a striking mare with a bold and brazen attitude. She’s unflappable with obstacles and tackles each one without a care from scary tarps hanging overhead to pool noodle gates. She’s a girl that enjoys the steadiness and predictability of routine but is also game to leave her friends and participate in a training session. She came into DEFHR with her dam so we suspect she had never been properly weaned so she does tend to have some attachment issues with other horses but she has shown great improvement working with one of our volunteer training team members on leaving the herd. She does have some rotation in both front feet but is barefoot and pasture sound and sound for some light groundwork too if that is something you enjoy doing. She is who she is and if you respect and honor the Appy code, you’ll get along with Iony just fine! Iony is available for adoption through Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine, Maryland. For more information, visit DEFHR.org. Days End Farm Horse Rescue is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
