Contact us today to learn more about this special boy and how you can make him part of your family! A note about adopting an off-track thoroughbred (OTTB): Gimme has recently retired from the racetrack. Like all young OTTBs, he is an active, energetic horse. We recommend several months of letdown, including pasture turnout, acclimation to farm life, and groundwork to establish a partnership before delving into a second career under saddle. OTTBs often know a lot of things—tying, loading, bathing, standing for the vet and farrier, but they are also very green and under saddle mostly just know go-Go-GO! These youngsters are suitable for professionals or experienced riders, or adult amateurs or junior riders working with a trainer or a mentor. With the appropriate support, Gimme to his second career will be immensely rewarding. Serenity Oaks Thoroughbred Aftercare is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
