Breed: Thoroughbred Gender: Mare Age: 4 Height: 16.0hh Color: Chestnut Disciplines: Prospect for Any Discipline Adoption fee: $3,000 Location: Win Place Home, Inc — Santa Clarita, CA Cordelia is a stunning mare with a bright future ahead of her. Purchased as a yearling for $190,000, she was clearly bred and selected for quality, but after only two works she retired before ever making it to the races. She retired due to a chip off her accessory carpal bone, underwent surgery, and has since completed her rehab beautifully. She is now fully healed with no limitations for her future, making her an exciting prospect for just about any discipline. Currently, Cordelia is building a strong foundation through groundwork and is already showing all the athleticism and presence you would expect from a mare of her caliber. In true redhead fashion, she comes with a little spice, but that only adds to her charm and makes her all the more fun for someone who enjoys a horse with personality. Cordelia is smart, athletic, and ready to begin her next career. Whether your goals are in the hunter/jumper ring, dressage arena, eventing, or another discipline, she has all the potential to thrive with the right partner. She is the kind of horse who will make the journey just as rewarding as the destination. Win Place Home, Inc is a rescue; this horse is for adoption, not for sale.
