17” FRANK BAINES “Capriole” Talk about a *pristine* oldie but goodie! This is an older but in immaculate conditon saddle that is new/like new! Measuring a 17” seat, this Frank Baines “Capriole” model has been kept in a climate controlled environment and carefully handled through the years, though seen little to no saddle time. It has front thigh blocks, and flaps that measure 12.5” W x 17” L, and a gullet around 4” in width— ideal for a more petite rider on a thoroughbred type horse! Flocking is in ideal shape with lots of give, and leather shows no cracking, rips or tears. I have given it a thorough check for soundness and integrity, and a nice cleaning and conditioning though it was already in very good shape.
